Hi, I'm Ivy.

I'm Ivy Duncan, a Wisconsin-based author with a lifelong love for reading, writing, anime, manga, and cats.

I've loved reading and writing since I was a kid. I started writing MM romance in middle school, when I began sharing my stories on Wattpad. What started as a creative hobby and a place to share my love of storytelling eventually grew into a journey toward becoming a published author.

These days, I spend my time writing messy romances and creating stories for my characters to fall in love. When I'm not writing, I can usually be found reading (either a book, a manga, or a manhwa) and a cat nearby.

I work full time as a computer programmer, which might seem like a very different world from writing romance (because it totally is). There is totally some overlap though. I've always enjoyed math, logic puzzles, and solving problems, and I think there's something satisfying about both writing a story and figuring out how all its pieces fit together.

I'm also a big traveler and am always planning my next trip—or my next three. I also love talking about my travels, so feel free to ask about any past or future trips. There's something about seeing new, beautiful places and experiencing something different that I find endlessly inspiring.

And then there's reading. I love manga and BL manhwa, and a large portion of my free time is spent reading them. Stories have always been my favorite ways to escape, explore, and connect with other people.
