It’s all very exciting. I’ve been writing for over ten years now (wow, I feel old), and I’ve been a published author for a few years, but I’m just now finally getting around to making a website.
I love writing, and it’s definitely my passion, but there’s a lot more that goes into it besides coming up with stories and putting them on paper, and I’m honestly not all that great at all the other stuff. My social media barely gets updated, and I just recently got If it’s Meant to Be on Barnes and Noble even though it’s been out for months.
Full time job + naturally lazy + trying to be a “proper” author = things falling through the cracks.
But an author website is no longer one of those things!
