Proximity Book Three

For two people who have always known exactly where they’re going, love was never part of the plan.
The Story
The Best Things Aren't Always Planned.
Luca has spent four years preparing for the future.
With law school waiting for him after graduation, he has little time—or interest—in distractions. His days are spent in lecture halls and library study nooks, and his nights are quiet, predictable, and comfortably alone.
Then there’s Jason.
An extrovert with a reputation that precedes him, Jason is charismatic, outgoing, and seemingly everywhere Luca isn’t. He spends his weekends at parties, knows half the campus by name, and has somehow decided that flirting with Luca is his new favorite pastime.
Luca thinks it’s a joke.
Jason insists it isn’t.
At first, Luca can tolerate Jason’s attention from a safe distance, but when Jason starts joining him in the library, bringing him his coffee order before class, and finding subtle ways to get closer, that distance becomes harder to maintain. Somewhere between late-night study sessions and fleeting touches, Luca realizes that Jason’s presence has become something he looks forward to. For a man who has always been comfortable on his own, accepting Jason means opening up in a way Luca never has before.
But falling for someone is easier than figuring out how to make a relationship work. As Jason struggles against the expectations of the family that has always dictated his future, Luca must learn that loving another person means more than making room for them in his carefully ordered life.

Behind the Cover
How the cover came together.
I design my own book covers, and I am not at all an artist, so I explore many different ideas before settling on the final design. Fot the cover of Not Interested, I had to get Procerate to help turn my vision into reality. Here are some pictures of the process I used.
